you can use vinegar in your kettle as well - boil it and it will loosen off

White spirit will take care of anything when it comes to stains around the house, just make sure you water it down a bit first and don't use it on anything valuable

Stainless steel - limescale marks - white vinegar - job done, as Mr Ramsey would say
