Just be sure to take it outside or to another room to clean-you dont want any of the dust particles to get on any of your kitchen surfaces.

To prevent your trash bin from getting smelly especially in the summer months, put any food scraps in a freezer bag and store in freezer until trash day. This will also keep the flies away.
