For a great smelling fridge, pour vanilla extract on to a piece of cotton wool and leave it on one of the shelves inside

After cleaning the fridge, wipe down the inside with a solution of bicarbonate of soda in cold water to make it small brand new.

After defrosting your freezer, apply a thin layer of glycerine to the inside with a paper towel. It makes the ice much easier to remove next time
