To keep your
dryer from using up too much energy (and to get your clothes to dry faser) clean your lint
screen with a
scrub brush and a dab of
soap or
vinegar. Rinse the
screen and water should fall through. Even though you're taking off the lint buildup when you do laundry, tiny particles accumulate in the
screen and prevent airflow thus increasing the
time your clothes spend in the
dryer. Do this once a month (if you don't do much laundry) or once every couple of weeks (for families).
