to keep your rubber bands elastic and strong, put them in the freezer! if you use film for cameras, keep them in the refrigerator. i'm not sure why you should, but my mom does it, and a lot of my photography friends do it, so there must be something there, eh? :-)

to clean a shower curtain, toss it in the washer on gentle with a couple of dirty towels (because the curtain likely isn't absorbant) along with a cup of baking soda and vinegar, or bleach. i saw aggie demonstrate another method (tossing it in the tub and stomping it like you're stomping grapes), but honestly - this is much easier. :-P

to remove stickers from any hard surface, scrape what you can off, then spread on peanut butter. leave for 10-20 minutes, then scrape off gently. it should come off perfectly clean! the peanut oil deteriorates the adhesive.
